Can I print in black and white even if I'm out of colored ink? My printer is a Brother DCP-110c printer.
With Brother printers, you can't if your colored ink cartridges are empty. When you turn your printer on, it takes a drop of each color as a test to make sure it is in working order -even when you only select monochrome.
