Can anyone recommend me a good all-in-one printer? I've been doing a lot of research and can't seem to find one I like. I would prefer against Canon and have been looking between HP and Epson. My first printer was an HP PSC 1510 and couldn't spool paper properly, was this problem fixed in later generations? But for Epson, will the printer still function if anyone of the 4 or 6 ink cartridges run out?

Try Epson. The print quality is excellent, even on plain paper. I have photos I printed on a 640 about ten years ago hanging in my office which still look good, though not as good as the ones from the CX8400 on glossy paper. The warranty is excellent. For a year, Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one.
