Can anyone share experience of using non OEM cartridge for Brother DCP 135 all-in-one printer? That's a pretty new printer, but it appears that the compatible cartridges are available. For the past 6 years, I've only used compatible ink, once the factory ink cartridges are empty, that is. In terms of quality, they've improved a lot in the past couple of years especially. That being said, if you want high resolution photos to last, I'd still lean toward OEM ink and high quality photo paper. There are quite a few different brands but only a few ink manufacturers, so your chances of finding a quality product are pretty good, especially given that you're asking about a Brother inkjet printer. They're about the least expensive cartridges you can buy. Generally, compatible cartridges are quite inexpensive and perform quite well. I wouldn't simply run out and buy the cheapest you can find though and to prevent the ink from getting old, don't buy more than a 3 month supply at a time. I'd recommend that you purchase from a reputable dealer that offers quality products and stands behind a great satisfaction guarantee. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a reputable retailer to supply you, especially if you shop online.
