Do I REALLY have to trash my Epson C84 Printer? It won't print. It acts like it's printing. The paper feeds just fine, it makes all the cool 'printer' sounds, etc. But it lays down no ink on the paper, although I have plenty of ink, all colors and black. I ran the head cleaning, nozzle check and head alignment utility. Does anyone have any idea why my printer worked great one day and then, suddenly, it lies about the fact that it's actually printing? :o
Does it have the printing head built in the ink cartridges? If not, you can take the printing head out and clean it by putting it down some alochol just enough to cover the very bottom of it for about 10 minutes. Take it out and dry it -don't rub the little holes in it and it should work.
