Epson dx 4400 problem: I never used color printing, but my computer says my color cartridges are empty. What is the problem?
If you've had those ink cartridges installed for more than a couple of months without using them, they have probably dried up or the printing head is gunked up. Try running the printer's utilities, see if that will clean out the print heads. Inks are not storable for a long time, and once installed in the printer, they can dry up if not used.
