Every time I try to print out a piece of paper my printer won't, and prints out a blank sheet instead. I just got new cartridges and the printer says that the black (which is what color I need) is full, but it still prints nothing. I have an Epson Stylus c120.Follow these steps: 1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. Turn off your printer. Hold down the paper button as you press the power button to turn the printer back on. Hold down both buttons until the power light begins to flash, then release the buttons. The printer prints its test page, which includes a nozzle check. Does the paper print out without any gaps or with gaps? If there are do this: 2. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. Make sure the printer is on and the ink light is off. Right-click the printer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Head Cleaning. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the cleaning cycle, which lasts about 1 minute. The power light flashes throughout the cleaning cycle and stays on green when the cycle is finished. Caution: Never turn off the printer during a cleaning cycle or you may damage it. When the power light stops flashing and remains on, you can check to see if the nozzles are clean. Click Print Nozzle Check Pattern and click Print. Check the printed nozzle check pattern to see if there are gaps in the lines. If there are no gaps, click Finish. If there are gaps or the pattern is faint, click Clean to clean the print head again. You may need to clean the print head up to 4 times. You can also turn off the printer and wait at least 6 hours. Then try printing again. If this doesn't work then double check that you have the toner cartridges in correctly. If you do then your print head is broken and/or burned out and it's best to just replace the printer. Fixing it would cost more than the printer itself.
