Help! My Canon printer failed to recognize my ink cartridge after I fiddled with it. Have I damaged a microchip when I removed the cartridges?
I think simply unplugging the printer from the power source will reset your printer. While you may have touched a chip when you removed the cartridges, I find it hard to believe you could have damaged them. If the ink is almost gone anyway, I'd suggest just buying new cartridges is the 'reset' info I provided does note work.
