Hi, I have an iMac using OSX 10.3.x. And when I bought it I bought my HP 3840, it worked perfectly for quite a while. I've reinstalled a color ink and now it won't print black.

Hi, I have an iMac using OSX 10.3.x. And when I bought it I bought my HP 3840, it worked perfectly for quite a while. I've reinstalled a color ink and now it won't print black.
Try removing the color ink cartridge and check if the contacts between the cartridge and psrinter are dirty. Try cleaning these with a moist cloth or paper towel and ensuring no paper or lint is left in the printer. It also could be a problem exist with the printer color contacts.
