How can I fix my HP 1350 printer? I have a blinking orange light that says to check the ink cartridge. I have tried everything and even read the manual.
1. Check to make sure you got the cartridges fully inserted into the right spots. Careful you don't push too hard, but don't be too gentle either. 2. Take a Q-tip (or cotton ball if you don't have them) and wet it with rubbing alcohol. Rub anything on the cartridge or in the cartridge slot that looks like metal. Specifically looks like gold colored (copper to be precise) and make sure there is no crud built up on it. Double check that you have left no lint behind. If that fails to do it, it may be that you have a bad switch that tells the printer the cartridge is fully inserted.
