How can I fix my Kyocera FS680 laser printer? It keeps reporting that it is jammed even though it actually isn't.
Open the paper tray, locate the feed roller (small rubbery wheel) and moisten a cloth. Gently clean the roller to remove build up of paper dust from it. Also worth using is some 'anti static foam cleanser' on the cloth to help deep clean the rollers, or the premoistened 'Screen wipes' Also check there is nothing blocking hte paper path, remove paper cassette, and toner cartridge (and drum if I recall correctly) and see if you can feed a sheet of paper MANUALLY from tray up into the 'imaging chamber' where the toner lives. If this feels too stiff, there could be an obstruction in the way, fragment of paper scrunched up after a REAL jam, or fault sensor arm. If you find something and can remove it, reassemble, and test.
