How come my ink emptied quickly? Ink in almost all ink cartridges would evaporate over time if not kept in a closed storage. The cartridge in question is expected to print average of 300-400 pages (with 5% coverage and normal quality), but if not used and kept open inside the printer it would be very possible for it to get empty in about 3 months. So make sure that you do not expose your ink cartridge in open air.
