How do I clean an Epson CX5400 Printer head? The Printer has been stood idle for many months. When put through the cleaning cycle the black, ink is clogged. The black ink cartridge has been changed and subsequent cleaning cycles have not cleared the blockage. Any ideas on how I can clean the head?
Just remove the front cover & clean it using a Printer head cleaner. Or you can use a damp cloth with a little bit of alcohl. Clean the head until you see some ink on the cloth, meaning that the clog has been removed.
