How do I get my HP printer to stop printing tests everytime I turn it on? You need to align the print cartridges. Read your HP manual, and find where alignment of cartridges are mentioned in the manual. Also a feature in the setting of your HP printer might also cause this, so you need to turn off that feature if there is an option pre-selected. Usually resetting your printer settings fix the problem
