How many times can a PIXMA canon FINE ink catridge be refilled?
It's hard to give a definite answer because it depends on a couple of variables. Like brand of ink used, 'clog factor', quality control during the manufacturing process of the cartridges themselves, etc. Some inks are slightly acidic which eventually causes microscopic pits or corrosion to the nozzles. Some nozzles are just more prone to clogging and even after a thorough cleaning in warm water, alcohol or vinegar, within a page or two they start clogging. One of the more common effects is streaking. (And the cleaning process could even damage the nozzles.) Only way to compare it is to a can of spray paint. Brand new nozzle, sprays great. But even if you wash the nozzle after each use, eventually the spray pattern gets messed up.
