How much ink is used each time you clean your (Brother MFC-5440CN) printer?
When you clean the head, it sucks the ink down to the sponge(at the side of the printer). The ink leaks because it did not reach the tip of head so Clean the head 1-3 times. The more you clean the print head, the more the ink it leaks. Try to Print few pages and if it's not working properly then clean again, not cleaning simultaneously.
