How to configure HP 6l printer to laptop with XP: I downloaded the drivers and I can see it as a printer but when I try to print, nothing happens. Of the 3 little lights that the printer has on its right side, only the upper one is on. Of course I have checked the connection, rebooted it, and nothing works!

Have you installed the printer with the printer installation wizard? Go tostart - settings - printers and faxes - add printer - local printer - browse through manufacturers' names, select HP - browse models select your model, or select have disk - and browse to where you installed the driver.
