I'm trying to change the ink in my Epson printer. It won't allow the cartridges to stay out where I can get ahold of them. I follow the manufacturer's directions but I'm getting nowhere. Help!

I'm trying to change the ink in my Epson printer. It won't allow the cartridges to stay out where I can get ahold of them. I follow the manufacturer's directions but I'm getting nowhere. Help!
Slide the upper cover and wait for seconds. The cartridge holder will come up, and you can remove it and insert the new one.
