I'm using an Epson C86 with Epson photo paper and new Epson ink cartridges. When I print my photos, they have vertical yellow lines. Any troubleshooting ideas?
Yes - the print head is bad -- or just clogged. Run the utility to 'clean' the jets. And - are you printing in 'landscape' format, because that would make a difference in which way the lines are oriented, and MAY mean that the problem is a driver error!! Are the lines 'verticle' according to the paper movement, or the print head movement? Since you say 'new ink', can you remove the part that moves back & forth [1-2 small screws - do an 'alignment' when done] and check for dust or paper bits stuck on it?
