I've downloaded and installed the driver for a Dell 720 from the Dell website but the printer won't communicate with the computer? Could it be that the printer isn't compatible with my Vista computer? What should I do?

I've downloaded and installed the driver for a Dell 720 from the Dell website but the printer won't communicate with the computer? Could it be that the printer isn't compatible with my Vista computer? What should I do?
Download and install latest software/driver from Dell's support page. Click start, printers and faxes, and click add a printer. Follow the instructions there.
