I am so sick of my Epson stylus Photo R260 - any suggestions for a replacement? I'd prefer any photo printer out there that isn't crazy with the ink, that works and gives great picture results. All inkjets require regular use or at least being turned on regularly, otherwise the heads clog. I have actually found Epsons to be better than most other brands my clients have tried. I have been recommending them for years and have seen hundreds in use. If your heads are truly clogged, which is what it sounds like, you can try removing the cartridge and dropping rubbing alcohol where the ink goes. Then put the cartridge back and try a few more cleanings. Once you get it working, make sure you turn the printer on once a day or better yet, leave it on. It doesnt take much power in idle mode. This will keep the ink flowing and prevent another clog.
