I am trying to download my Lexmark all-in-one printer, but this box pops up telling me my spooler is not connected. When I click yes to connect, it says it's not installed.
Go to Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services and find Print Spooler in the list, double-click it and the properties box will pop up. You can stop or start the service from there. On the General tab it should say Startup Type: Automatic. Click the Recovery tab and where it says Second Failure pull down the combo box and select Run a Program. In the Run | Run program box type: C:WINDOWSsystem32spoolsv.exe Apply and OK. See if that helps at all.
