I cannot install my Brother printer model in my Debian/Ubuntu Distro. How can I install it?
If you cannot find your Brother printer model in the CUPS web interface, do the following steps: 1) Ensure that csh/tcsh is installed. 2)Copy the PPD file from "/usr/share/cups/model/xxxxx.ppd" to "/usr/share/cups". (where "xxxxx" stands for your model name) 3) Restart CUPS. 4) The model name should now be listed in the model list.
