I cannot print from my Brother MFC 420. It says I need to replace the yellow ink, but when I checked the cartridge, there's still some yellow ink left in it. What should I do?

I cannot print from my Brother MFC 420. It says I need to replace the yellow ink, but when I checked the cartridge, there's still some yellow ink left in it. What should I do?
Clean the printer heads, by going to the printer (control panel) and looking for cleaning/maintenance in the properties or profiles. If this doesnt fix it, then replace the cartridge.
