I have a Brother MFC 3220, and it keeps giving me the message that one or more of my ink tanks are empty, yet they appear to be over 1/2 full, and not even 2 months old yet. Is there an easy fix, or should I just get a new printer?

I would just get a 'spare' cartridge and then keep using it so long as it works.
