I have a Canon iP5300, and I just bought some new ink for it -didn't refill, completely replaced the cartridge. I printed a few images and they have lines across them as if the ink is low? Does anyone know what the problem is?Remove all the cartridges, take out the print head and clarefully clean the little round circles where the ink is heated and forced through the holes to the paper. Just pour a teaspoon of alcohol out and have 5 or 6 cotton twin tips handy. Dip one tip in the alcohol and swab or clean ONE of the printhead circles. Now use the dry other endof the twintip to clean and dry the circle. Repeat for each of the heads circles(apertures). Now replace the print head and put each cartridge back in place (assuming thereis ink in each of them) Now go to control panel, printers and faxes, then printer model, then document, then maintenance and then DEEP CLEANING. Run the deep cleaning operation 4 times in a row. Now do a bottom roller cleaner. Now do a sample sheet and you should see an improvement. Now printout a picture andit should have none of those annoying lines.
