I have a Dell 1700n laser printer that has a brand new toner cartridge but it already says toner low. Does anyone know where the ink sensor is on the cartridge? I would like to try to cover the sensor to see if that helps.
If it's the one that came with the printer when you bought it, they only put at most a third of the toner in it. That's because they make more money out of the toner than the printer so they make you buy a new one soon after you buy it.
