I have a Dell All in One Printer (922) which has been working perfectly for almost 3 years. My current black and color ink cartridges are on their 2nd refill, and seemed to work for a little bit after reinstalling them. I have tried cleaning them, troubleshooting, etc. The only thing that worries me is that I can see ink blots on the bottom of the ink cartridge (I don't know if this is normal), and my computer doesn't recognize that the color cartridge is even there. The main problem now is that my printer goes through the motions of printing, but only prints blank pages. Is this something that would be fixed by new cartridges, or is there some sort of blockage in the printer itself? Any help would be appreciated!
After a time (especially if you don't print very often), the ink will dry in the ports of the cartridge. If this happens, the only way to fix your problem is to get a new cartridge.
