I have a Lexmark X125, it was given to me by a friend and I need some help figuring what is wrong with it. It is an all-in-one printer and what it is doing is- it keeps saying to replace the left cartridge, but the left cartridge is new.Is it a generic cartridge? Sometimes the generic cartridges just won't work causing the printer to not recognize it, thus giving the message to replace it because it doesn't 'know' it's there as a result of this incompatability with the generic's failure. Alternatively, you could also download the latest driver for it to make sure it's not a driver issue. Which is what I'd definitely do. Especially if this is a Vista system you're putting it on using an old CD that came with the printer (which would not have vista drivers). But even if it's XP, I'd still recommend trying the latest driver.
