I have a Lexmark all-in-one printer. I installed it on my desktop which runs on Windows XP and it works fine. But when I installed it on my Toshiba laptop it says, 'problem communicating with the printer.' I went to the Lexmark page to download the driver for Vista but that did not do anything either. What do I have to do?
Is your USB hub okay? If you are not sure, try to connect another device to the same port that the printer uses (ex. flash drive) and examine it if it works. Your problem may be also caused by a bad cable. Try to replace its cable. Hope this helps.
