I have a question about my Canon PIXMA i600 printer: Why will it not print in color? It's supposed to be a picture printer. I have all the necessary software, and hardware, and various paper. My ink cartridges aren't empty and yet this only prints what looks like dot matrix -poor quality. It will not print in color even though my color ink cartridge is full. Is it a setting? I tried aligning cartrages, cleaning them, and everything. It still only prints lousy black and white images that look more like a bunch of connect-the-dots rather than a photograph.
Either it's defective or you need to change the printing preferences to color printing and also a high standard DPI of printing.
