I have an Epson 4400 printer and my issue is that when I try to connect it to the USB, it doesn't recognize it.Couple of things here: First, I'm guessing you've got your computer set to do the automatic Windows updates (hopefully), and with that being said, sometimes the Windows updates will 'mess' with stuff that was fine until an update conflicted with it. It's rare, but it does happen. I'm also guessing that the drivers you're using are from when you installed the printer originally -- before July '07... SO -- do yourself a favor and go to the Epson site and download the latest drivers/software . Then, refer to the Quick-Start guide to refresh your memory on exactly how Epson wants the machine installed; they're pretty specific. turn it on, but don't plug in the cable. cancel out the Windows 'found new hardware.' pop-up, etc. Also, try a usb cable that you KNOW is working (from an already-working printer) to connect to your computer.
