I have an Epson Stylus CX7400, and I tried replacing all the ink cartridges with XPrint Ink Cartridges. The boxes specifically state 'for use in Stylus CX7400', E-0T0692. After having run the ink replacement troubleshoot, the black ink was accepted, but the cyan, magenta, and yellow inks were deemed 'incompatible' by the printer. When trying to print black and white documents, the printer does not respond to any printing commands. Is there a way to print only with black ink without replacing the color cartridges? When opening the troubleshooter, the printer suggests purchasing ink and leads to the same ink replacement program. Is there a way to force printing without compatibility?
You may need to use a chip resetter for your cartridges that fool the printer into believing they are new Epson cartridges.
