I have an Epson c84 printer that only prints black. It has plenty of ink and the settings are right. How can I fix this?
If when you have done the print head cleanings there is no color on the diagnostic page, then yet is may be time to either have you printer serviced or replaced. If I long time lapsed in between printer uses then you most likely have a clogged print head. You can purchase cleaner cartridges. I have seen them on line but not in stores as of yet. I have never used them so i couldn't tell you how effective they are at removing a blockage. The other option is clean the print heads repeatedly. Check the diagnostic pages for any improvement. This is a last stitch effort. One more thing if you are not using original Epson cartridges, that may be your problem.. There are compatables on the market with low purity inks, or made with universals inks that are too dense for the printer.
