I have an HP Laserjet 1200 printer that is not functioning correctly. When I print the ink on the page will fade in and out, and it sometimes smudges. Usually after this happens the part that didn't print last time comes out on the next thing I print. I have changed to a new ink cartridge and updated the drivers and still have no luck. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Again, it's a laser printer.

You need to have your toner replaced. This is usually the problem.
