I have problems with a Canon pixma ip1000 head. I've tried cleaning it for a number of times now to no success. What should I do?I've had some success in removing the printhead from the printer and allowing it to soak overnight in a mixture of Windex (window cleaner with ammonia), isopropyl alcohol and water. After allowing it to soak in a shallow bowl, just swishing it around in the liquid is usually enough to clear the solid clogs. wipe it down with some paper towel and reinsert it. Replace the ink cartridges, run 6 or 7 deep cleanings and it'll usually start to work. Or, simply try to find a replacement print head. They're out there but you'll have to do some searching to find a supplier.
