I haven't used my Epson Stylus C84 printer for a few months. A few weeks ago I thought I would pull it out and use it again. I went and bought all new ink for it at Staples but it doesn't print. The only color that prints is the blue. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? I ran it through the cleaning like 10 times and still only blue prints.Remove the tape from the top of the cartridge. If air can't get into the top, ink won't come out the bottom. You might also want to scrape around the top and make sure the tiny air hole is open. If that's not it, it's possible your print heads are clogged from months of non-use. I have seen cleaning cartridges for sale (I believe they contain pure alcohol) which should break down coagulated ink stuck in the heads. You can find these on ebay. It's a lot cheaper than paying a technician to remove and clean the heads. It's probably cheaper to get another printer than do that.
