I haven't used my Lexmark 3000 series in a long time, and now it makes a buzzing noise. Will changing the ink cartridges solve the problem? I also have poor print quality because of it.
New cartridges will probably fix the color problem, but the buzzing sound is a different matter altogether. It sounds like the printer is on its last leg. My advice: go ahead and blow $30 on a new inkjet (if $ is a major concern). It should come with cartridges (in fact, cartridges cost about as much as the printer). http://computers.pricegrabber.com/printe... If you have more money, get a laser.
