I just put a new ink cartridge in about a month ago and it says I still have about half left. However, when I print my black ink is faded or doesn't show up at all. Why is this? I tried cleaning the nozzles from the printer troubleshoot page but it didn't do anything.My printer's a Dell Photo printer 720.
Unfortunately, Dell cartridges will dry up in about three weeks resulting in a faded or or streaked print. the only option is to replace the cartridge, however for the cost of replacing one of those low capacity substandard cartridges you can get a whole new printer and break free of the dell curse.
