I need to reset the the ink cartridge chip in my Epson CX3810 Printer? I drilled a hole in the top of the ink cartridge and refilled it. The cartridge is an Epsom T0601. The red light that says that I'm out of ink will not go out. I cannot figure out how to reset the ink chip to show as full or simply disable it so I can continue printing.
You should be able to get hold of a chip resetting clip, that tells the cartridge that its full again. I've seen them around, but don't remember where. Sorry can't help out more.
