I replaced the black ink cartridge in my Epson Stylus C42 about a month ago, however nothing will print. The paper feeds through but only coloured text prints. I have checked the ink cartridge and the ink is draining through. Any ideas?

You might need to clean the printer. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes > Right-click your printer > Properties > Print test page. If it still does not print black, choose the option that it did not work and it will ask you if you want it to be cleaned. Click okay and try to print again after.
