I try to print with my Canon ip1000 printer but when i connect it, my PC said USB device not recognized. This never happened before. Itried to reinstall my printer, but when I restart, it said 'not recognized' again. What might be the problem?

Right click on my computer and choose device manager to assign a drive letter to your USB.
