I was just given a Lexmark x73, and will be buying a USB cable, downloading a driver from the Lexmark site, and getting someone to help me get the system to recognize it without the CD for installation that it originally had. All this is a lot to ask, if the printer was discontinued because it's junk. Anybody know? It's a printer/scanner/copier. Also, it's covered in dust and cobwebs. Should I clean the interior too?

Better buy a new one. Old printers = more problems, higher maintenance cost especially the for the ink -not to mention all the headaches it could cause you.
