I would like to clean the head on my Epson printer using a solvent.How do I do it?
Using an eye dropper, place 1-2 drops of BLUE window cleaner, like windex on each cone (the part which insert is into the bottom of the cartridge) Let sit for 20-30 minutes install cartridges and run cleaning. Repeat. If the printer has not been in use for more than a year it is unlikely this or any method will free the blockage in the print head. Also be advised that the cleaned ink will stain, make sure you are doing this on a well covered surface to absorb any waste ink which may dribble out.
