If a fax machine uses thermal paper, does it need ink cartridge? I own a Brother Intellifax 680, but I'm not sure if this fax machine uses ink toner or ink ribbon. Please help.
Thermal paper is extremely common, and printers/faxes that use it never need ink or toner. When you go to fast food restaurants, the receipt is made of thermal paper.
