If an Epson ink cartridge is not used very often, how long should it be kept in the printer?
As a general rule, if an Epson ink cartridge is more than 6 months old and has not been used very often, it may need to be replaced if print quality is reduced. Before replacing the Epson ink cartridge, you may wish to clean and align the print heads to determine if that improves the quality.
