Is there a Lexmark cartridge that a Dell printer would recognize? Since Dell printers are made by Lexmark, aren't these two brands compatible?
Unfortunately, Dell cartridges are 'keyed' as Dell. Although physically the cartridges are very similar and in most cases will fit in the printer, the Lexmark cartridge will not be recognized by the Dell printer.
