Lexmark 1200 printer suddenly isn't recognized?
Your best bet would probably be to go and remove and reinstall the drivers for the printer. I know you don't have the disk for it anymore, but you can get the drivers online at www.lexmark.com. I'm not sure what kind of printer you have, if it's one of the all-in-ones, or just a printer only, so I didn't do a search. Well, actually, I did, but there were 3 all in ones with that number, and I'm not 100% sure which one you have. I had to download the drivers off the net for my mom after she had her computer repaired from a nasty virus, and it's been fine since. Actually took out SOME of the 'kinks' she had before...I think the online drivers are more up to date than her CD was. If this doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you. If it does it on both your computer AND your FH's, it's definitely a printer problem versus a computer problem.
