My Brother DCP -130C printer won't print with just the black ink cartridge put in.
You still need to put the color cartrdige in , even if empty so that you can use the black cartridge. What you need to do is go in the printer menu of the Brother printer, and select 'Print all text in black ' or 'Use black only'.
