My Brother MFC-420 printer does not read my memory card, why?
Usually, a reformat of a memory card will fix this. To test that your memory card still works, insert it into your camera and ensure that it still functions. Backup your photos before you format the memory card. You can often format the card with your camera. If asked, choose to perform a 'low level' format which recreates the file system on the memory card. You can probably use the USB interface to download the images off of the memory card before you format it, since your computer isn't recognizing it.
