My Brother MFC-420cn thinks it's out of cyan when it's not. How do I fix this?
Some ink cartridges have little chips on them that the printer uses to keep track of whether the cartridge had been used before and what the ink levels in it should be. A printer won't work, even with a full ink cartridge, it it has a malfunctioning chip. If that's the case, the only thing you can do is get a different cartridge.
